1. Commitment to Accessibility

Viuzi operates exclusively in B2B mode for legal entities. The European Accessibility Act (EAA) is primarily oriented towards consumer services. Viuzi voluntarily applies these standards as a best practice for inclusive design and universal accessibility.

VIUZI ESP, SL, as the operator of the Viuzi platform, is committed to ensuring that its services marketplace is accessible to all persons, including those with physical, sensory, cognitive or any other type of disabilities.

We believe that digital accessibility is not only a legal obligation, but a fundamental principle of inclusive design. Our goal is for all users, regardless of their abilities, to be able to access and use the Viuzi platform effectively to search, contract and provide professional and maintenance services.

This commitment extends to all platform interfaces, including the mobile application (iOS and Android), the web platform and all associated digital communications.

2. Applicable Standards

Viuzi adheres to the following standards and regulations on digital accessibility:

2.1 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA

Our platform is developed and maintained following the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), with the aim of achieving Level AA conformance. These guidelines are organised around four fundamental principles:

  • Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presented in ways that users can perceive.
  • Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable by all users.
  • Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
  • Robust: Content must be robust enough to be reliably interpreted by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

In accordance with Annex I, Section IV of Directive (EU) 2019/882 (e-commerce services), Viuzi complies with: (a) accessibility of service information; (b) accessibility of identification, authentication and payment functions; (c) provision of information in accessible formats; (d) accessibility of user content in accordance with the guidelines of Section 3.

Viuzi is aware of the WCAG 2.2 standard (October 2023) and is working to incorporate its additional criteria. The target for WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance is set for Q2 2027.

2.2 European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882)

Viuzi complies with the requirements established by the European Accessibility Act (EAA), adopted through Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 June 2019 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.

The European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) has been mandatory since 28 June 2025. Viuzi confirms that its platform complies with the applicable accessibility requirements as of the effective date of this policy. Products and services introduced before 28 June 2025 that do not yet comply are being updated in accordance with the transitional provisions of Article 32 of the Directive.

As a digital services platform operating in the European market, Viuzi commits to fulfilling the obligations established in this directive, including:

  • Ensuring that the digital services provided through the platform comply with the accessibility requirements defined in Annex I of the Directive.
  • Providing information about the platform's accessibility features.
  • Maintaining procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with accessibility requirements.
  • Cooperating with market surveillance authorities when required.

2.3 European Standard EN 301 549

Additionally, Viuzi takes as a reference the European standard EN 301 549, which establishes the accessibility requirements for information and communication technology (ICT) products and services in the context of European public procurement, as a harmonised standard providing a presumption of conformity with the requirements of Directive (EU) 2019/882.

4. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts to ensure the complete accessibility of the platform, we acknowledge that limitations may exist in certain areas:

  • User-generated content: Images, descriptions and other content uploaded by users (profile photographs, service images, job descriptions) may not include alternative texts or meet all accessibility standards. We continually work to facilitate and encourage users to provide accessible content.
  • Third-party content: Some elements of the platform depend on third-party services (payment processing, maps, external integrations) whose accessibility is outside our direct control. We select providers committed to accessibility and periodically assess their conformance.
  • PDF documents: PDF documents generated by the Platform are classified as: (a) business-critical (invoices, contracts) — priority conformance with PDF/UA (ISO 14289) for Q3 2026; (b) informational (reports, statistics) — conformance for Q4 2026.
  • Functionality under development: New features may temporarily present accessibility limitations during their initial development phase. We commit to resolving these limitations as part of the development process.

We actively document and prioritise the correction of any identified accessibility limitation.

Remediation timelines:

  • Accessibility of critical PDF documents (invoices, contracts) — PDF/UA (ISO 14289) conformance: Target Q3 2026.
  • Accessibility of informational PDF documents (reports, statistics): Target Q4 2026.
  • Alternative text on portfolio content: Implementation of mandatory description field, Target Q4 2026.
  • WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance: Target Q2 2027.
  • Full screen reader compatibility for real-time chat: Target Q2 2027. The Q2 2027 deadline for full real-time chat accessibility has been assessed in accordance with Article 14 of Directive (EU) 2019/882. The disproportionate burden assessment considers: (a) implementation costs relative to VIUZI ESP, SL's resources, (b) the availability of accessible alternative communication channels (email, forms), and (c) the estimated benefit to users. This assessment is documented and available upon request.

For any limitation that cannot be remedied within the indicated timeframes, a disproportionate burden assessment will be conducted in accordance with Article 14(3) of Directive 2019/882.

Progress monitoring: VIUZI ESP, SL documents quarterly progress on accessibility remediations. Progress reports are available upon request to accessibility@viuzi.com and for supervisory authorities. The updated status of each remediation item is published in the conformance declaration in Section 9.
